Features of Google Docs
It allows you to create new document files and edit existing files.
If you are tired of typing then you can also use your voice to write with Google Docs application. You can also edit and format text with voice typing (Only available for Chrome browser).
This application allows you to read and edit documents as a team making it easy for you to collaborate with your colleagues when needed. You can easily share documents and collaborate in the same document simultaneously.
When you are collaborating with others it is not appropriate to make edits and changes without the opinion of others. So, you can use the Suggesting feature of Google Docs and show your edits to the other collaborators giving them a chance to accept or reject them.
To avoid confusion Google Docs shows the changes as color-coded suggestions with a comment next to each to show who made the change. Each comment has an Accept and Reject button for others to choose from.
If you want to draw someone's attention to a comment you have added, you can just tag them by entering the @ or + sign and choose the person you want to tag. If you tag someone, he/she will get an email to alert them of your comment or question.
After creating a new document in Google Docs app, you will get nearly two dozen font to choose from with Arial as the default font type. But you can access to more fonts and typefaces using the dropdown list on your top editing toolbar.
