Real Racing 3 is a third main title part of the Real Racing series, a racing video game, developed by Firemonkeys Studios and published by Electronic Arts for iOS, Android, Nvidia Shield, and BlackBerry 10 devices.

It is a free-to-download game with additional features available through in-app purchases.

Controls

The controls of this game are similar to the previous games of the Real Racing series. It offers you seven different control methods to choose from –

• Tilt A: It features accelerometer steering, where you need to tilt the physical device to the left to turn left and to the right to turn right, auto accelerates, and manual brake. 
• Tilt B: It features accelerometer steering, manual accelerate, and manual brake.
• Tilt C: It is the same as ‘Tilt B’ with the only difference in the virtual gas pedal below the virtual brake pedal. 
• Tilt C (Flipped): Similar to ‘Tilt C’, but with the virtual gas and brake pedals swapped in positions.
• Wheel A: It features a virtual on-screen steering wheel to steer, auto accelerate and manual brake.
• Wheel A (Flipped):  Similar to ‘Wheel A’, but with the virtual steering wheel on the right of the screen and the brake on the left.
• Wheel B: Here it has a virtual steering wheel to steer, manual acceleration, and manual brake.

Races Types

The Real Racing 3 features different types of races – Cup, NASCAR, Formula E, Elimination, Endurance, Head-to-Head, Autocross, Speed Record, Speed Snap, Drag Race, Time Trial, and Hunter. Each type has its unique conditions from the number of opponent & laps, race times to controls.

• Unlimited Events 

There are numerous races for you to choose from. You can compete in over 4,000 events in different types of races, like Cup races, Eliminations, and Endurance challenges. 

• Multiplayer

The Real Race 3 allows you to race against up to four players in multiplayer mode. There are also weekly multiplayer tournaments, multiplayer leaderboards, and eight-player multiplayer with drafting.

Other than the traditional multiplayer mode this game also offers a type of multiplayer known as "Time Shifted Multiplayer" (TSM). Here the players' lap time is recorded in each race and then, when the player goes online, the game itself recreates those lap times, i.e.

AI opponents in multiplayer mode are emulating the laps raced by real people at another time.

• Drafting

The Drafting feature is available to the NASCAR and Formula 1 circuits. It occurs when a car comes behind another and drafts at the bumper.
