WPS Connect

WPS means Wi-Fi Protected Setup. This is a wireless network security standard that attempts to speed up and facilitate connections between a router and a wireless device. WPS only works for wireless networks that use a password that is encrypted with the WPA private or WPA2 personal protection protocol.

Press the WPS button on your router to start discovering new devices. Then, you go to your device and select the network you want to connect to. The device automatically connects to the wireless network without having to enter a network password.

How to enable WPS connection?

1. First, you need to access the router configuration main menu.
2. Click Wireless Settings from the top menu.
3. And then click Basic Security Settings from the left.
4. Under Turn Wireless On, make sure WPS is set to ON / OFF.
5. Now scroll to the bottom of the page then click Apply.

How to disable WPS Connection?

1. First, you open a web browser and type 192.168.1.1.
2. Now enter your administrator username and password.
3. Then select Advanced Settings -> Wireless.
4. Now select WPS from the tab and move the side slider to enable WPS in off position.

How to connect Wi-Fi use WPS?

1. First, open the input tray.
2. Then press the scanner's Wi-Fi on/off button and the Wi-Fi connection button and hold it for at least three seconds until blue. Leave the Wi-Fi on/off button when the light blue is glowing.
3. Enter pin code ***** on the wireless router or access point within two minutes.
