Here is the installation process of the Mi Home app,

• Must select China as the mainland to avoid problems during your device connection.
• Have to register by providing the required information. (If you have previously registered, you can login with it.)
• Now you have to select your region and account binding process.
• Then you need to set the password. After submitting the password, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. After confirming there, your account will be activated.

• Mi Home: From here you can add device and also get recommendation.

• Automation: Here you will find automation scripts and product instructions.
• Profile: In this section, you can set your account name, profile picture. If you want to change the password, you can do it from here.

How to connect the device

You need to keep your device next to your mobile while your MI Home app is active on your phone. It will automatically detect the device. You can connect it by clicking the OK button.

How to share devices

You can share devices with others through Share Device Options. You can easily share the device with people close to you by sending a request or accepting their request. For this, both the parties must be users of Xiaomi.
