Tasker

Tasker application is the most powerful tool for Android device. It allows you to automate settings, actions and other aspects without the need to root your smartphone. This is a very good phone automation application but many people have complained that it is very complicated.

This is very useful for those who are using older smartphones except the latest Android update.

You can quickly mute your phone without toggling the menu and then turn on mute mode, leaving the screen aside.Open the tasker, go to the Profiles and click the + symbol to add a new profile. Select the state, tap Sensor and then select Orientation. Under Orientation, tap the Face Down.

Then click the < icon at the top-left of the screen to return to the Profiles from Tasker app. After that,
you need to set up the task which will happen if you put your face down.

• Under the new function, tap on the + symbol and give it a name.
• Click the + symbol to enter the Audio Action section in Performance Mode.
• Select Vibrate for audio action and Vibrate for mode.
• Tap the < sign to return to the profile.

Check to see if your new Face Down is on. Whenever you put your face down on a surface, your phone will now go into silent mode.
